Large and grand with a lovely picked coloured glass entrance canopy. Two rooms over two levels and very plush in an 80’s sort of way; oak panelling, immaculate banquettes and deep pub carpet. Three Felinfoel pulls with Stout (NBSS 4) Bitter (3) and Double Dragon available. Painfully wrong music being pumped-out which sounded like something from the Eurovision heats. Unusable dart board. We were the only customers, though given the Wales v Ukraine game had only just finished (with this place resolutely not showing it) may explain why. An odd one – there’s a lot to like here but it feels like it needs a bit of life injecting, felt like an empty Sam Smiths pub in fact.
