Felinfoel pub. Front-facing main servery with a knocked-through, long and narrow (to the point of being difficult to get from one end of the bar to the other) interior. Naff white artex-style walls and bland décor as well as pretty awful piped music. Two cask ales; Felinfoel Double Dragon (NBSS 2.5, too cold) and Dragon Heart. Also their stout on keg, being proactively pushed by the barman to the Guinness-supping old boys; “cheaper for you and money for our brewery!” was a good argument, to the extent he sold them a pint each. Made me wonder what I’d missed at the Red Lion over the road.

The Pembrey Inn is ideally situated for those wishing to tour the beautiful Carmarthenshire coastline and countryside. We are just a few minutes walk from miles of sandy beaches and the Pembrey Country Park. The Pembrey Race Circuit is a 5 minute drive from here.
They have an enclosed pretty garden area where you can enjoy a meal and a drink. There is also a smokers shelter. A large selection of draught beers (including cask conditioned), lagers, wines and spirits, is always available. For those who enjoy pub games, why not try your hand at pool or darts, or watch all your favourite sports on Sky.
All rooms are centrally heated with remote control television and tea & coffee making facilities

I first stayed at the Pembrey in the Summer of 2003. I was so impressed with the hospitality of mine hosts that I am now a regular visitor. The accommodation is immaculately clean and comfortable. The food is very good, great atmosphere in the bars.
