A fairly average Craft Union estate pub with darts, pool and more screens than you can shake a stick at. Reasonably furnished and mostly carpetted at least, with a nicely broken-up layout, although the toilets let the side down. Just John Smiths Smooth Crap as a bitter, even if sensibly-priced at £3.40.

Another estate pub in the maze of housing to the south west of York. It looks a little nicer outside than others in the area and less austere inside than some. It’s got a carpet with plastic tiles round the servery which serves both the front and back bars. It’s multi spaced due to pillars and short dividers, each space seems to have at least two screens, one has a pool table. Three T-bars in the front bar and no cask beers, usual lager/cider mix with John Smiths Smooth and Guinness. One wall has a big 1950s or 1960s OS map showing the area before the houses were built.

The Beagle is a very nice looking pub that is in the western suburbs of York.
Once inside the main room is through the main entrance, this room is oblong shaped with the bar facing, there is a pool table to the right, the seating is very comfy bench type and chairs, the room is carpeted.
There is a separate pool room to the front left and a smaller room to the rear which had a TV on.
There was one real ale on the bar which was John Smiths Cask, this was a decent drink.
This is a very pleasant and comfortable pub to have a drink in.
