An unprepossessing estate pub to all outward appearances, but a point of interest is that the Wyvern is virtually unchanged since it was built in 1963. Entrance is by the side door to the public bar, with the lounge being in the longer part of the building to the right; the front door being the off sales, which has been brought back into use. There's no real ale here, just Stones and Magnet for beer drinkers.
