Gill Smith left this review about Riverside Inn

Even though not in the Good Beer Guide, we like to pop into this pub between the Kelham Island Tavern and the Harlequin as they often have interesting guest beers on, and the choice and quality has improved over the years. Always been very quiet when we call during the day compared to the other pubs, but as said before it seems to cater for different clientelle. Enjoyed Anglo Dutch Wild Flower and Brew Co Summit IPA.

Old Boots left this review about Riverside Inn

A modern styled bar of one big stripped out room on the ground floor, there is another room upstairs which I didn't visit. The name gives a clue that it is adjacent to the river Don and there is a riverside patio. A bar counter in old pine runs down one side with 7 handpumps serving small brewery beers in good condition and there are keg taps with some more interesting Continental beers from Erdinger, Bellevue, Warsteiner and a Kriek as well as the more regular Hoegaarden, Guinness, Becks and Staropramen. The cider is from Addlestones. Furnished with a mix of farmhouse kitchen tables, chapel seats, and leather sofas, there is a big projection screen and the usual exposed brickwork. Not a pub aiming for the same clientele as the nearby Kelham Island Tavern or Fat Cat.
