Will Larter left this review about Ranmoor Inn

The bay windows at the front have etched glass featuring Tenants Ales and Wileys Spirits, and though neither appear on the bar any more, the windows still look good. Inside the original layout of small rooms can be traced in the RSJs that support the ceiling. The bar is towards the back, and features five hand pumps, with two beers from Bradfield, plus Abbeydale Deception, Timothy Taylor Landlord and Otter Bitter. Service was very friendly and efficient, and there was a pleasant atmosphere, with groups of old friends and what appeared to be extended families enjoying a convivial night out. The beer was pricier than in the Fox and Duck at Broomhill, and the range less interesting than at the Rising Sun along the road towards Fulwood, but if visiting those two pubs, this one would be a worthwhile stop too.

The Ranmoor Inn is a decent looking stone built pub that is quite close to the church.
I quite liked it in this pub it seemed fairly cosy and inviting there were four real ales on here i had a drink of Abbeydale Moonshine which was very nice there was also Thornbridge Wild Swan and Taylor Landlord.
I think this is a really decent pub and i would have liked to stay here longer.
