Blue Scrumpy left this review about Nags Head Inn

The Nags Head Inn is brewery tap for the Bradfield Brewery which is just a little further along the road. There are 2 small rooms inside, with a traditional bar area on the right-hand side and a games room complete with a snooker table to the left.

Cask ales from the Bradfield Farmer's range were Blonde, Pale Ale, Brown Cow, Light Ale, Steel Cow, Yorkshire Farmer & Sloe Burn. I happened to order the only one with a different price, the seasonal Sloe Burn which had an unusual blueish tint to it, but was very enjoyable. Staff and customers all seemed friendly.

Will Larter left this review about Nags Head Inn

A stone-built roadside country pub, with two rooms. Five hand pumps were serving a range of local Bradfield beers when we were here recently: Farmers Blonde, Yorkshire Farmer, Brown Cow, Olde English Ale and Sheffield Steelers. These were incredibly cheap at under £2 a pint. There's a quiz on Thursdays and a snooker table (not full size) in the public bar. It was fairly busy on quiz night, and there were chips and sandwiches brought round after the quiz. We'll definitely be back because we won the quiz so we've all those beer tokens to spend!

Above review written 8th May 2011.

As well as returning to spend those beer tokens, I've been back to check the viability of my 61/62 bus pub crawl on a Sunday. The pub is as busy as any on the route, but this is more of a drinkers pub than the two in Bradfield. And with the local beers at just £2 a pint, it's worth the bus fare to come out here for a session, never mind the pub crawl.
