Will Larter left this review about The Fox & Hounds
A large estate pub, seemingly dating from the 1960s, though the surrounding housing is of various ages, including old stone-built cottages lining the road. The pub, formerly the Fox, was closed for a spell, then refurbished and opened under its present name about four years ago, though the inside still looks very smart. There are stools at the bar, sofas and low chairs elsewhere, with a dining area to the right rear. To the left are pool and snooker tables.
On the bar are two hand pumps, though only one was on at the time of my midweek lunchtime visit, and that had to be pulled through for my half: Wentworth WPA, not to my taste but in good condition.
