I'm no expert on these things, but for a city centre bar/night club, this looks pretty classy to me. The décor and the music are all in exquisitely bad taste - you know, the sort of bad taste that is so bad it's good? If I was of the right age, or the right inclination, or mixed with the right people, I could imagine feeling right at home here. As a pub, I've got say that it stinks. There's no real ale (no surprises there) and to be honest even the keg options are pretty limited. We had a half each of Worthington Crap Flow, which lived up to its name. As we were only here for market research purposes, I wish we could claim the £3.60 back from someone. There are better pubs even in Sheffield city centre.

The Viper Rooms looks quite large from the outside,but once inside it is a lot samller.
There is a small single oblong shaped room with the bar on the left side,the right side is raised and had a wall seperating it from the main area,just like you saw in night clubs in the 80s,all walls had mirrors which helped make the place look bigger than it really was.
The room was very dimly lite and empty apart from us two.
There were no real ales on the bar,we had a drink of Worthington Cream Crap which lived up to its name,it was cold and crap.
This is a very poor bar,even the young bright people of Sheffield were shunning it.
I did'nt have this bar on my list to do,so i blame my partner in crime for this one.
