The entrance is on the far right of the long building which is approached through the car park. (The nearby Bradway Tunnel cutting is a spectacular sight from the pavement as you approach.) Once inside, there is a choice of two doors. To the left, the building has been opened out somewhat, with a bar in front and drinking and dining areas extending to the left and the rear. Exploring further, the door marked "toilets" is also the passage that leads through to the small public bar which could have been accessed through the right hand door at the entrance. This is a pleasant little room with bare boards, a couple of TVs and a similar number of slot machines. The stone fireplace, strangely, has been painted white.

There are two hand pumps on the main bar, and three in the smaller public, but just two beers on when we were here: the excellent Oakwell Barnsley Bitter and the bland Bradfield Farmers Blonde. I rather like this pub, it's a bit of a character: sitting there in its car park seemingly oblivious to the fact that it is no longer in the wooded countryside on Sheffield's outskirts, denying come what may the existence of the housing estate that has grown up around it over the last 50 years or so.

The Castle Inn is a nice looking stone built pub in the bradway area of Sheffield.
Once inside this pub is quite nice and cosy with an olde worlde feel to it there is also a seperate restaurant.
There were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Taylor Landlord which was very nice the other beers were Deuchars IPA and GK IPA.
I thought this was a decent pub to have a few drinks in.
