Will Larter left this review about The Black Bull

This is a very handsome stone building opposite the church in the old part of Ecclesfield. The internal layout appears to have been opened out quite a bit, and the bar is at the back with a large area for standing drinkers. There's a pool table in a side room to the left, and another room to the right.

There are four hand pumps on the bar, with two having beer available at the time of my visit: Bradfield Belgian Blue and Wychwood Hobgoblin, plus one more that was being pulled through. I thought this was quite a pleasant pub to have a drink in.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Black Bull

The Black Bull is a stone built pub that has been blackened by the traffic going by.
Inside there was a large room with one real ale on this was Flowers IPA this was quite a nice drink.
There may be other rooms but i did'nt look.
