Old Boots left this review about The Harewood Arms Hotel

Located outside the gates of the stately home after which it is named, this is a big Sam Smiths pub and hotel. Housed in an handsome square stone building, the whole village is constructed in a similar design and materials. The multi-room interior is classic Sam's with panelling to the dado, red walls above decorated with a multitude of prints and photos and there’s a tasteful carpet. Matching tables and chairs complemented with leather button back banquettes form the furnishings. Entering through the front door there is a serving hatch immediately in front with sitting rooms to left and right. To the right is another room at the back with the main counter. A fairly full range of Sam’s beers on sale but no cask OBB. The usual Mr Humphrey prohibitions apply although the no swearing rule wasn’t going to apply to my fellow posh customers. There’s a handy bus stop just outside on the frequent 36 route from Leeds to Harrogate. Closed Mondays.
