Real Ale Ray left this review about The Skyrack

A good sized Greene King establishment, which was split into two main drinking areas. At the far end of the pub was where the local students mainly hang out, which housed two pool tables in a games room and music which was playing at volume. The other end of the pub, which was the main roadside entrance, had two good sized rooms, which were comfortably finished. The room along the front of the pub had chocolate brown painted walls and the woodwork was painted in a dark heritage green colour. There was also some cricket memorabilia and gilt framed mirrors and brass lighting. The second room was slightly more private and had wallpapered walls and banquette seating. Five handpumps with a choice of four ales on our visit, I found the barman to be very helpful, and my pint of Ilkley Brewery Mary Jane was in good shape.

The Skyrack is a stone built pub that is opposite the the Original Oak.
The front door is out of use so i entered through the right side entrance.
Once inside there is a single L shaped room with the bar on the left side, there is bench seating and normal tables and chairs to the front right and high bench seating to the rear left.
There were two real ales on the bar that i noted,i had a drink of Saltaire Rasberry Blonde which went down very well, the other beer was GK IPA.
The was so busy with normal drinker and fancy dressers that i had to wait a while for my half, when i finally got served the person behind the bar rushed off to serve another person,so i got a free drink.
This may be a decent pub at a quieter time.

Old Boots left this review about The Skyrack

About the last pub in the Otley Road run and popular on that basis, they all end up here or at the Original Oak opposite. Both are similarly unappealing to the sober. This one is a U shaped room but one side goes down into a lower level dining area. The bar counter is vaguely semi circular with a bank of three handpulls at each end, and T bars in between, Greene King beers including Old Speckled Hen and St Edmunds although service is poor due to a lack of staff. Elsewhere it has high furniture, a couple of pool tables and the usual machines.
