The Mustard Pot is a large pub which is set in its own grounds and is in the middle of Chapel Allerton.
Once inside there is one long oblong shaped room which runs the width of the pub,the bar is to the right side of the room, the room is part carpeted and bare boarded, the seating a mix of bench type and normal tables and chairs, the left side seems to where diners have their meals
The pub is a Marstons tied house,i had a drink of Marstons EPA which went down well, the other beers were Ringwood Boondoggle,Jennings Bitter and Banks's Sunbeam,i thought this was a decent choice of beers.
Food seems to be a big player here, but drinkers are treated just the same.
There is a garden to the front and background music was playing.

Old Boots left this review about Mustard Pot

A big Marstons dining pub, it is basically a restaurant although there are a few leather sofas and armchairs round the edges for casual drinking, the rest is taken up with tightly packed tables and chairs. The bar is squeezed in to a corner of one of the two rooms. Four handpumps with Marstons stable beers plus a couple of T-Bars, the beer was in OK condition but not particularly memorable either way. Quite elegantly decorated with the leather, the chandeliers and the gilt mirrors, all rather let down by the poor quality and unmatched dining furniture. There is a large garden with picnic benches and humorous signs. Belgian beer bottles holding flowers are placed on each table but sadly no sign of any Belgian beers.
