Old Boots left this review about Fox Inn

Stone built and rendered pub in a row of older stone buildings, the interior is very much old Yorkshire village pub with a multi room layout although more than a little chopping has occurred. Exposed stone on the front inner wall and round the fireplace in the main bar, this occupies the front right of the building with a snug to the left and a small comfortable lounge to the rear. New flags and carpet in the front, quarry tiles in other parts. Some very nice photos, prints and a stained glass Fox sign, perhaps an ex-pub window on display. The new looking counter is centre rear with three pulls plus a T-Bar and another T-Bar on the left hand face with a couple of solos thrown in. Taylor’s Landlord and Boltmaker plus Robinson’s Dizzy Blonde on the pulls but my Boltmaker was not of the best, not pulled through or just past it I couldn’t say, not take back bad but not right and requiring a snack to dull the taste. The counter face is a bit short so a godsend to bar blockers. Nice pub, apart from piped music which is fast becoming a pet hate of mine, shame about the beer though.

Alan Winfield left this review about Fox Inn

The Fox is a white painted pub that is in the middle of Thorner.
Once inside the bar faces in an opened out room which has roughly three separate areas, there is a decent sized oblong shaped area to the front right which has bench seating and chairs, the floor is part tiled and carpeted, there is a smaller area to the front left which has bench seating and small stools, the rear left are has bench seating and chairs.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Brewsters Hophead which went down well, the other real ales were Lees Game On and Tetley Cask.
I thought this was a decent pub to have a drink in.
