Although the inn sign at one time was a fairly witty one, with two workmen scratching their heads at being instructed to fix a new sign to the pub with the words Ford Green, and realising that someone had blundered, the pub itself was a bit on the rough side, and the building's present incarnation as a continental supermarket is probably of more value to the community.
