Very impressive exterior, usual grey paint job inside. Multi space rather than multi room, each with at least one big screen. Central bar area with a pool table in one side space and a more tasteful seating area to the other side. The side mounted counter has 4 pulls with Doombar, Acorn and one from Great Heck. 6 shiney keg taps, one labelled and 5 numbered, the beers are listed behind and came from from Ilkley, Thornbridge, Little Critters, and Toast, there’s also a small selection of more mainstream kegs on a low T, so a bit like the cask choice being a mix of the unusual and the boring. Very popular with student types.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Library
Eponymous old building near the university that has been a pub for a while but which has been given something of a makeover in recent times. Tall ceiling, loud music and chatter, silent sports TVs with football on and a pool table. Also has the 'Lending Room' for live music and a beer garden is advertised. Still very much a student place, of course, but the menu has been spruced up and there are five numbered craft keg taps (which do, at least, also have information signs on so you don't have to locate the chalk board). Now does real ale too, with two from Acorn - Yorkshire Pride and Epic IPA - plus the Ilkley Rombald (£3.00).

Just next door the both Woodhouse Moor and the Leeds university, this is dominated by students. Los of screens about for any sport that is on, plus a couple of pool tables. Mostly lager served and every now and then they'll have a real cider on, but no ale.
