Old Boots left this review about The Cricketers Arms

Stone built pub looking quite incongruous in this slightly downmarket suburb of Leeds, once two buildings they are now knocked together. It overlooks the village green and could be a village pub anywhere. The mobility scooters outside paint a different picture and inside is more the estate pub I expected, decor and punter wise. There are two bars inside, little to choose between them although the back room is more a public bar with a pool table, screens and machines. There’s a biggish function room to the front left. Decor is mostly sporting photos, flags and Leeds United memorabilia. Beer wise there is a single pull serving Doombar in each bar, not a beer I’m very familiar with nowadays but it was drinkable and fairly cheap at £3.05. Otherwise the usual collection of national kegs brands and keg cocktails etc. Friendly enough place for an old bloke at lunchtime with the local old folks and others.
