Odd touches of the 1930s inside but mostly stripped out into a multi space where I’m guessing about four rooms used to be. Bland beige or cream interior with a pale tartan carpet. There’s leather banquettes all round, not sure about the back room as the only cask on was a mediocre Bradfield Farmers Blonde so it was a swift half and away. There was a decent sized group of locals bantering away in one corner. Two pulls but just the aforementioned Bradfield plus a trio of quad T-Bars with all your favourites. Two barmaids and one female punter so very blokey.

Good pub, good people, nice place, shame about Sqeaky, that's the landlord. Spends most of his time in the club over the road, it's a good job, all the club customers go to the pub when he goes in. When he goes home, they go back to the club!
