Alan Winfield left this review about The Barnleigh

The Barnleigh looks like a stone built estate pub that is situated between Pudsey and Bramley.
The pubs grounds looked to be in a right mess so i was surprised to find the pub open, once inside there is a bar room to the left, this room is L shaped, the seating is comfy bench type, there was a pool table and darts board to the rear, the room is carpeted, there was a TV on which was showing rugby.
There is a separate lounge to the front right which was not in use.
There were no real ales on the bar so it was a drink of John Smiths Extra Cold Crap which was cold and crap.
The pub was quite busy with mainly younger locals.
This is not a pub to go out of your way to do like i did.
