A nice old pub building with a much modernised interior, and even a modernised garden featuring a glass and steel structure and a row of 'beach hut' style sheds equipped with tables and benches. The place is quite food biased of course but still seemed to have a good trade in drinkers. Ales noted at time of visit were one from Great Newsome and GK IPA.

My wife and I had a good night out at the "Nancy",it's named after a famous racehorse if you were wondering. The landlady Sue is friendly and welcoming, she has only recently taken over. We called over for the quiz, which was challenging but fun. We also took part in something called Rock and Roll bingo which was a laugh.I had driven there so I didn't try any of the beers but I noticed a few handpulled ales; Marsdens pedigree for one. We will definately be calling again.
