I thought I knew Worcestershire but on spotting this in the GBG, I had no idea where it is. Turns out its less than 10 miles from where I live.

So a walk and a pint. Very remote, yet strangely packed place. 7pm on a Wednesday and we had the last of the traditional wooden tables, next to the huge log burner.

Wye Valley Butty Bach in superb condition.

This was a busy community local on Saturday night when we called in and the friendly landlady served good quality real ales. Tried all 3 available which were Wye Valley Butty Bach, Wye Valley HPA, and Malvern Hills Feel Good. There was a wood burning stove on the left hand side where we sat with a small fan on it to spread the heat. Cosy.

The Fox Inn is a very small pub that is set well back from the very quiet road.
There is a small area at the front of the pub for outside drinking and this area was packed on our visit as there was a 50th birthday party being celebrated.
Once inside the bar was facing and there was only the one small room this had bare boards to the right with a rug on them, the left side had a stone floor and also had a rug on it,most of the seating was small pews and stools.
There were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Wye Valley HPA and this was a very nice drink the other beers were Wye Valley Buty Bach and Cannon Royal Arrowhead bitter, there was also a real cider but i car'nt remember the name of it.
This was a proper old fashioned pub and i was very happy having a drink in here.
