First time we have visited this pub and found the selection of 2 from Wickwar and Wye Valley a little disappointing, although the Wickwar Bob was kept fine. Inside set up with bar and dining area, and a decent raised decking area with plenty of seating at the rear. A long way down a grassed area if you want to see the river.

Nice enough pub , clean and light but the selection of beer is shocking . Today it hobgoblin gold and BOB , they also have a selection of lagers and some ciders. I am torn as to describe this place but its between a gastropub and a coffee bar. Outside is a raised decking area which is ok but there is a garden donw by the river which if looked after could be nice. Another Enterprise Inns tennant who isnt interested in getting more trade.

I found this pub to be quite upmarket. especially the prices. There were two handpumps, serving a Sharps Doombar and Purity UBU both priced at £3.60 a pint. The interior was open plan, with seating areas to the right and left of the main entrance. The bar was situated on a raised section over on the left, with a seated restaurant area at the rear. The interior consisted of a maple timber flooring throughout, which was light in colour and the bar was light oak and the walls were painted a cream colour. The staff were pleasant enough, the pub just lacked atmosphere on this visit.

Old hotel on Pershores main street , the public bar was once two rooms , its is now divided by the oak beamed skeleton of an old wall hung with an old leather saddle , it makes an intresting focal point , there is an old brick fireplace and a few ancient beams , the back room is the resturant which has a strange 1970s feel to it , the hotel backs onto the river and there is an outside area overlooking the river , i believe the Hotel has moorings as well .
Beer the usual keg taps and Wye Valley HPA and London Pride .
Worth popping in if your in the area
