We dropped in here on the way past hoping for half an hour in the sunshine by the canal. After all it is called The Navigation. If we'd been going the other way we would have observed the lack of canal frontage and carried on.

Anyway it's OK, nothing special, two-room community local with many chomping their Sunday roasts despite the sultry conditions. There is a door signed Garden Bar in the garden but looked like it hasn't been used for a while. We took our eurofizz outside to the back garden and it was all pleasant enough. I didn't spot any handpumps but maybe I was in the wrong bar.

It is what it is, fine for the locals but not trip-out material.

Decent pub with a nice outside space on a sunny afternoon. Plenty of people eating. Only Doom Bar and an unused tap so the beer choice let it down for me. It was a decent pint but I'd like a choice!

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Navigation Inn

Refurbished detached two-bar pub / restaurant near the Worcester & Birmingham Canal but not overlooking the waterway. Quite tastefully done, with a mix of modern and traditional elements. Bar food quite pricey for what it is, but at least when is says that this is served until 21:00 that indeed proves to be the case (even on a quiet Wednesday evening, and very welcome after two previous failures to obtain sustenance on my evening walk). Two real ales on handpump in each part of the central servery: a 'house' ale of unknown origin and Wye Valley Butty Bach (£3.95).
