Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Golden Lion
Marston's estate pub, now semi-divided between the Sports Bar on the right-hand side and the Tandoori Flames 'family bar and dining' half to the left. The former part is dominated by a pair of pool tables, but has a smattering of seating around the edges and closer to the bar, plus some wooden benches out on the side patio. The counter extends into both parts, with a total of four handpumps (all sadly disused). Made do with the keg version of Banks's Amber, but this only cost £2.85 and was better than the usual John Smiths or Worthington options.
