Always been my go-to Broadway pub.... traditional single roomer, with outdoor loos. Nice front patio. Low beamed ceiling. Pub nick nacks aplenty. TT Landlord and usually, North Cotswold brews are on.

Midweek - I had to use all my powers of negotiation to get served on entry at 9:30pm. One member of staff (I think, wasnt directly behind the bar) very keen to tell us exactly how long we could stay for - 1 drink and that's it. Landlady, far more pleasant. The rumours of hospitality in peril are obviously exaggerated if they can afford turn away paying punters at a reasonable pub going time.

Looking through other's eyes, our party also noticed the table closest to the bar - empty, apart from a sign not seen outside of Royston Vassey. This table is for locals only. Got to laugh.

Still, beer is good and a nice place to relax. We showed good etiquette by returning glassware, and left on friendly terms.

Blue Scrumpy left this review about Crown & Trumpet Inn

The Crown & Trumpet is a popular pub, but being situated on a side street away from the main touristy areas, its popularity is much more manageable. We also found that it hadn't been modernised to suit tourist trends. This is still a fairly simple local pub with simple, but comfortable furnishings, homemade pub grub and a decent selection of ales and ciders, whilst still catering for visiting trade as and when required.

The regular beers are Timothy Taylor Landlord & North Cotswold Shagweaver. The guest beer was Goff's Cheltenham Gold, whilst ciders were Lilley's Mango Cider & Elderflower Cider & Weston's Rosie's Pig Rhubarb, British Vintage & Family Vintage. A CAMRA discount is offered on the Shagwever only.

The better of the two pubs we tried in Broadway.

Cotswold stone inn, complete with oak beams and log fires along with plenty of Flowers Brewery memorabilia. The menu offers pub grub featuring locally grown produce, making it popular with locals, tourists and walkers. It also offers an unusual range of pub games, and entertainment including live music Jazz and Blues nights.Timothy Taylors Landlord, Stanway beers that alternate throughout the seasons of the year and other guest beers are sourced from Gloucestershire micro breweries, many different Gins available

The Crown And Trumpet is a quaint old fashioned pub that is just off the main road that runs through Broadway. On entry the small beamed bar is to your left with a seating area in front of this. There are more seats in the central area and to the right is an area set out for diners.Over the bar are a few framed beer awards plus a great deal of other miscellany including old glass bottles, horse brasses and a piano
There were 2 cask ciders and 6 cask ales on show on our Friday lunchtime visit with the Artist's Ale from the local Stanway Brewery being on top form
Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Called here while on a coach holiday and had a pint of one of the local brews. This is a cosy pub and the landlord welcomed us in and sat with us for a time telling us about the village and places to see. This is a lovely village and i would like to return and spend more time here.
