I drank in here a few times and remember it as a decent pub. Sad to see it as a Tesco.

Pub Co, clean and tidy place with all day menu. Cask ales were Wadworth 6X, Worcestershire Way and Banks' Mild (which was OK). It feels functional in here - which is why we went in (we needed to find some food inn the middle of the afternoon) but I wouldn't say it has character. It's in direct competition with the Wetherspoon's up the road. The town is big enough for both of them but it's not going to be as busy as its neighbour.
