E TA left this review about The Bradley Hare

A large brick building on the main road which looks and feels more like a country hotel than a village pub, but they do welcome drinkers to both the bar and the garden. There is a long drive to the gravel car park at the rear, which is well lit at night and maintains the feel of an hotel. There is a large lawned garden which has two or three canvass covered seating areas, again well lit at night. Inside, the main bar area has several tables laid for diners, complete with napkins and wine glasses, though there is a coffee table by the chimney breast at one end with some comfy chairs for drinkers. A smaller anteroom at the side, which shares an efficient woodburner with the main bar, has sofas and armchairs and feels like a pleasant club drawing room or snug. The young staff were helpful and pleasant, while the clientele appear more affluent than you’d expect in a country pub around here, which reinforces the feeling that it’s more of an hotel. Two ales on draft, Butcombe Original and Gritchie English Lore, in good condition. A bank of taps dispenses a real cider, a craft ale and some megas. There is also a barrel of water for dogs. I liked it here and would happily come back, including to eat, and it’s not as expensive as you might think.
