We used this pub extensively for lunch during latter part of 2007, very pleasant and well cooked food with varied menu.
Can't comment on beer as driving
However towards end of 2007 the manager changed, and the menu seemed to change for the worse, including Sunday lunch which was somewhat mediocre, then my circumstances changed & we no longer used it
I will give it 2 stars only when it was 3 earlier in year

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Plough Inn
Traditional Arkells pub (a bit of a tautology, I suppose) but none the worse for that. Very handy for Junction 15 of the M4 if you are looking to break your journey.
