Quinno _ left this review about The Waiting Room

A recently revamped (nee Mail Coach, Locomotive) Craft Union place that has had a few quid chucked at it. Long and narrow with the main bar at the front, a mid-section and onto a rear games area with pool, 2x darts and a quizzer. Plenty of screens for the football throughout the pub. A few punters in on Sunday evening. Three ales available; Doom Bar, Hobgoblin Gold and TT Landlord (NBSS 2.5) priced at well-under £4 a pint. It’s a national lager brand swilling place (I was the only ale drinker amongst the 20 or so other punters) but ultimately it’s fine for what it is. 5.5

Alan Winfield left this review about The Mailcoach Inn

The Mail Coach is in Swindons main shopping area and once inside there were two rooms i went in the room at the front this was a fairly comfortable room.
There was only one real ale on here this was Courage best and this was a decent drink.
