Parsons Nose proves some Craft Union pubs are better than others; this one’s a glum and skanky place, a real codger's waiting room. The weird whining noise that was emanating from somewhere in the pub sounded like the last wheeze of an expiring banshee. Kudos to the barmaid who multi-tasked serving me whilst taking a phone call from someone whose mate had just had the bizzies pay a visit. No cask, so a half of Carling it was which in fairness was good and fresh which accompanied a surprisingly prescient Britpop soundtrack.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Parsons Nose
A bit rough-and-ready this one, with a limited amount of furniture and decor in the partially opened-out two-room interior. Two of three handpumps in operation, dispensing Doom Bar (£3.40) and Hobgoblin.
