Revisited as was passing so thought I'd swing by to see what current state of play was since it's reported closure and it was reopen but the person serving didn't seem to confident as to how long it might be.

It is a very nice building complete with Green Plaque informing that the building is of Special historic and architectural interest. It requires a complete refurb to turn it into a food orientated pub but one that it big enough for it not to dominate. As you enter there is a courtyard garden straight ahead with a pool room to the right with when entering left takes you into a long L shaped split level area with the bar on the right hand side. This area also offers access to the garden as well as to the toilets.

Drinks choice limited but there was a real ale and a cider on with a couple of other lesser known draught ciders covering previous drinks markers.
