Presumably an old town pub, which has been modernised into a sort of sports cocktail bar, if that is not a contradiction in terms. Rather naff grey decor, with equally naff furnishings and numerous sports screens; even the garden has a row of naff stools for no apparent reason. The saving grace was a decent pint of Black Sheep, and there were a few craft keg on the wall behind also.

A few changes from my last couple of visits, two pulls of expensive casks, one from Pennine and the other an average Purity Mad Goose, two T-bars with a total of 10 kegs. Seating is at tables and chairs at various heights further back, some in booths each of which has a small screen to compliment the larger few dotted about, all on horse racing. A few tables were reserved. Full of bright young things as well as the not so bright and not so young.

Bar Three is situated quite close to Wetherbys small bus station so was very handy after a long bus ride from Leeds.
Once inside there is an oblong shaped room with the bar on the left side, the floor is bare boarded, there is bench seating to the front, tall tables and chairs in the middle area and normal tables and chairs to the rear.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Leeds Pale which went down well, the other beer was London Pride.
Quiet background music was playing, the TV was showing the Olympics and food was being served.
I found this to be a pleasant enough pub to have a drink in.

Formerly the Three Legs, now a trendy type of place, wine bar cum bistro with a couple of handpumps. Open plan, of course, with low tables and sofas at the front, dining style tables and chairs with a couple of high chairs and tables, most of the tables are candle powered. Needless to say the walls are coloured taupe and there is one big screen. Beers are a range of smooths and lagers with Copper Dragon Golden Pippin and Black Sheep bitter on the pulls – served too cold but not to cover poor quality as the Pippin was very good once it achieved drinking temperature. As you may guess Wetherby's trendiest and wannabe trendy as customers although there were a few not so young and definitely not so trendy ones as well.
