I was here a few days after the pub had reopened following a refurbishment, and it was looking good. There were a couple of hand pumps on the bar, but no real ale at the moment. The manager told me they are planning to have a beer and cider festival, and follow it up with a couple of beers on the bar. I made do with a half of Shipyard, which was £2.35 for a half, and as cold and fizzy as I had anticipated.
