Old Boots left this review about Waggon & Horses

Two separate rooms joined by the usual facilities, I used the right hand room which is an odd shape, probably two or three rooms knocked into one. The counter is in one corner with a collection of T-bars and solos, there are two unused pulls in the left hand room which may have a pool table. Part board, part laminate floor, the wallpaper is regency style but startling, there’s also a big screen which was showing an horror film on my lunchtime visit. Friendly enough place. Cash only.

Alan Winfield left this review about Waggon & Horses

The waggon and Horses is a decent sized stone built pub that is very handy for the new tesco store.
Once inside there is an irregular shaped room with the bar the the rear left, the room is carpeted and the seating is comfy bench type and small stools, there is a TV to the right which was showing old music videos,i quite like watching these, there were lots of books mainly about Yorkshire and the locality behind the bench seating for people to look through.
There is a separate pool room to the rear left.
There was one pump on the bar which had its clip turned round,so it was a drink of John Smiths smooth crap which lived up to its name.
