Will Larter left this review about Butchers Arms

The pub remains as described by the two previous reviewers, though I guess there's been a lick of paint since they were here seven years ago; and the beer is now £1.50 for a half. There's no cask beer now, but my half of Old Brewery keg wasn't too cold and was a pretty decent drink. The woman running the pub had to repeatedly tell one of the customers about swearing, which he eventually managed to control; after he left, one of the people he'd been talking to said, "Eh, he'd be dangerous if he had so much as one brain cell that worked". There's no need to go out looking for all human life - just stay in a Sam Smiths pub long enough and it will turn up.

Alan Winfield left this review about Butchers Arms

The Butchers Arms is a stand alone pub that is situated on the edge of Pudseys shopping area.
Once inside there is a single room which is U shaped, the room is carpeted, the seating is comfy bench seating to the front and rear plus some small round tables and stools in the middle area.
The pub is a Samuel Smiths tied house,i had a drink of OBB which went down very well and was very cheap at 90p for a half.
The pub was packed on my Saturday dinner visit but there were seats available to the rear,i quite liked this pub.

Old Boots left this review about Butchers Arms

A Sam Smiths double fronted pub that has been knocked into a flowing u shape and redone in traditional pub style of course. The dark wood counter complements Axminster style carpet and dun coloured walls, naturally for a Sam's pub it's furnished in old pub style. The OBB was less frozen than usual but slightly past it. The decor contains some interesting old photos.
