One of several village pubs on Kirkgate, this one made out of two small buildings. It's quite pleasant and comfortable, and service was friendly and welcoming. The bar has three hand pumps, with Ossett Blonde, Timothy Taylor Landlord and Black Sheep Bitter. I went for the Black Sheep, which was very good. It was quiet the afternoon when I was here, but a combination of live music, a DJ and karaoke is promised on Saturdays; luckily this was a Tuesday.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Robin Hood Inn

The Robin Hood is a stone built pub that is situated on Sildens busy shopping street.
Once inside the main room is oblong shaped, there is a stone floor, the seating is bench type and small stools, there was also a real fire on the go to the left, the TV to the rear was showing music videos.
There is a separate pool room to the front right.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Leeds Pale which went down well, the other beers were Tetley Cask and GK IPA.
The pub was fairly busy on my Saturday dinner visit, with most drinkers being in their 40s or 50s.
No broken glass or fighting on my visit.
This seemed to be a decent enough pub to have a couple of drinks in.

This place is where all the youth of Silsden and many of the surrounding villages go and so there is regularly fights and broken glass in this place. Not good for real ales (I can't recall a single one on the pumps the last time I visited) and can get loud, crowded and anti-social with drunk punters staggering around. For a proper real ale experience visit the King's Arms just 1 minute's walk up the road.
