Real Ale Ray left this review about The Crescent Inn

A faired sized lounge and bar which was traditional in décor. The bar was situated on the left hand side and was finished in red mahogany with a pot shelf above the counter. The room painted in a heritage sage green colour and included the original cornice work. Eight handpumps on this visit, so we went for the Ridgeside Brewery Roosevelt APA and a Goose Eye Brewery bitter. The bar was busy on our visit as the rugby was showing on the large screen above the fireplace. A couple of bar flys standing with glasses of wine, were a bit of a nuisance when trying to see the handpumps, one polite local moved for our perusal, top marks there.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Crescent Inn

The Crescent is across the road from the Dalesway.
This place look more like an hotel from the outside, but once inside there is a proper bar with a proper pub feel to it.
The room is oblong shaped and bare boarded, the seating is pew type and copper topped tables, there was a TV to the right showing rugby.
There was a very good choice of real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Ilkley Ruby Jane which was on top form, the other beers noted were Copper Dragon Best Bitter,Leeds Pale,Saltaire Blonde,Ilkley Scary Spice, and Ghost Heritic.
The Pub was really busy on my Saturday afternoon visit.
Well worth a visit if in Ilkley for the beer alone.

Old Boots left this review about The Crescent Inn

The Crescent Inn is actually the open to the public bar of the quite posh Crescent Hotel. A rectangular room in mid Victorian style, the hotel opened in 1861, it has a floor of broad boards, a very nice curved counter and a splendid bar back. Being furnished only round the edges with copper topped round tables and chairs covered in a tartanish material leaves a big vertical drinking space in the middle. Unexpectedly the décor is of sporting teams, local I believe. Eight pulls of interesting beers and well kept too, there is a good bottled beer selection and the keg selection is upper end national brand stuff, there are also a couple of good malts. My one and only minor criticism is the service is a little too hotel styled but otherwise well worth a visit.
