The Yorkshire Victoria is a large free standing pub that is a short walk from the town centre.
Once inside the pub has been opened out into a very large single room,the bar faces on entry,there is a pool table in what was a large separate room to the front right,there is leather bench seating in this area,the main area also has comfy bench seating to the front and left,the floor is part carpeted and bare boarded.
There is a dart board to the rear left,the TVs were showing the West Ham v Sunderland game.
There were a couple of unused handpumps on the bar,so it was a drink of Worthington Cream crap which was a very poor drink but probably slightly better that the other option of John Smiths smooth crap.
The pub was empty on my Saturday dinnertime visit.
This pub seems to be too big for its own good.
