Old Boots left this review about The White Horse
Lying under the massive West Yorkshire landmark of Emley Moor TV transmission mast in a pretty stone village. A long thin GBG listed pub with a lounge to the right and a dedicated dining room to the left, the main bar is in the centre. The pub does call itself a “Real Ale House and Restaurant” and the food is good, I especially liked the Boozy Peas. The bar is traditional unlike a lot of Ossett's pubs which tend to the bar like, copper topped Britannia tables and brewery mirrors, for example would not be found in any of their Hop outlets I expect. The bar has a low ceiling and gently bobbing bar staff. There are eight handpumps with a mix of Ossett and other microbreweries beers in fine condition as expected.
