Old building outside not much of note inside, a poor modern version of an old pub. Two rooms with a shared servery, pool in one, more screens in the other, there are former rooms at each end surviving as raised areas. Four pulls in bigger room, two blank others with uninspiring Ossett beers.

A sad disappointment, this ancient pub has been opened out into several large drinking areas for people who are not particularly keen on sitting down. There are TV screens on every wall, as seen in my photo of the games room, with its fantastic stained glass mullioned windows and its two pool tables. O tempora! O mores!
There are four hand pumps on the bar, amidst a plethora of keg fonts, with two fruit ciders and just one real ale available at the time of my visit. My heart had already sunk before this, when the sound of loud pop music assailed my ears before I was even in the pub: they have loudspeakers on the outside walls of the pub! O morons!

Shabby pub with a desperate selection of keg beer. Kids running around all over the place and no-one serving. I had a quick look around, still no bar person after a couple of minutes so I left. It's looks like it should be decent, but it isn't.
