ROB Camra left this review about Beehive & Cross Keys

A large traditional pub on the outskirts of the town centre. The bar is directly facing you as you enter. There's a pool table to the left rear and a raised area to the front left. There's also a dartboard in the main room. It's fairly basic in a pleasant sort of way. The barmaid was very friendly as were the other two guys on the pub, so pretty quiet on a Friday, late afternoon. There are 4 handpumps, but only 2 were on. My pint of Whitstable Bay Blonde was decent, if not top notch. This pub is owned by Admiral, so they probably have to choose beer from their list, which may explain the road miles incurred for the beer. It's a decent enough pub, but I'll probably not walk up here again to visit.
