Situated in the Earlsheaton area of Dewsbury, this pub has very little to recommend it.

Loud music was blasting out of the smoking area overlooking the pub's car park as we arrived. We turned right upon arrival and were met with some disapproving looks as we entered the main bar with a child. We were immediately instructed that families with children had to sit in the lounge (to the left as you enter) and also had to be out by 6pm. Not particularly welcoming.

The lounge had some old photos on the walls, but had a dull decor that was made worse by the lack of any other customers or atmosphere. They no longer serve real ale here either. An all in all disappointing experience.
