Just to let people know this place has been redecorated recently and is now called The new Turk,however be aware that it is only open on a Saturday night from 9-00p.m to 2-00a.m.

The Old Turk has been taken over by the team behind the Stalybridge Station Buffet Bar and The West Riding Licensed Refreshment Rooms (just the other side of the ring road). It's due to reopen on 29.10.14 and considering the pedigree of its sister pubs should be a valuable addition to the local real ale scene.
