The Prince of Wales is a largish pub that is at the bottom of leeds road and faces the busy Harrogate road.
The pub has recently reopened and had a refurb.
Once inside there is a decent sized room to the front which is dog legged in shape, the bar faces, the seating is bench type and small stools, there is a small stage to the front left, there is also a separate pool room to the rear.
No pumps on the bar,so it was a drink of John Smiths smooth crap which lived up to its name,i later noticed keg Worthington cream crap on the bar, which may have been slightly better than the JSSC.
The pub was fairly busy with younger locals, there was a slight rough edge to the pub on my Saturday dinner visit, but i have been in loads of pubs worse than this one.
