Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Lord Clyde

Now a real ale pub and live music venue rather than the Irish pub it was previously. Not sure that the L-shaped interior has changed much, but a new patio beer garden has been opened at the back (and this real sun-trap). The real ale choice has improved too, with the regular Tetley's Cask supplemented by a couple from Stancill - Flapkack and Porter - and a fine Tiffin Gold from Kirkby Lonsdale (£3.95, including a bag of peanuts). Overall, better than I was expecting...

Old Boots left this review about The Lord Clyde

Down the hill from the city centre this is a corner pub with a modernised interior and a vaguely Irish theme in the form of a big tricolour on the ceiling and shamrock and harp motifs stuck on the windows plus two Guinness founts. A community pub, comfortable and unostentatious. Basic L shape of course, with a conservatory at one end, leather covered benchseating with tables and chairs and a bit of dark wood. Two hand pulls with Saltaire Blonde and Tetley Cask in reasonable condition plus the usual suspects. Décor in the form of sporting photographs including some of the Lord Clyde Racing Club and there was horse racing on the telly. I believe it's owned by the same people as the City Vaults who refer to it as an Irish pub.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Lord Clyde

The Lord Clyde is a smallish corner pub in the city centre.
The pub was fairly smart and comfortable inside and there was one real ale on the bar this was Tetley bitter and this was a decent drink.
