Alan Winfield left this review about The Kings Arms

The Kings Arms is a decent looking white painted pub that must be quite old,the date above the front door has 1739 on it.
Once inside there is a large single room with the bar to the rear right, the room is carpeted, the seating bench type and chairs, there is a pool table and TV to the right, the TV was showing horse racing.
No real ales on the bar,so i had a drink of WM Youngers bitter,i thought this beer had long gone,it was poor but better than the other keg bitter John Smiths smooth crap.
There was background music playing which was crap.
All a bit of a let down after it looking nice from the outside.
