An odd shaped pub that is a bit bigger inside than first sight suggests, with the L shaped counter to the right seating to the left and right and a pool room at the back. Seven hand pumps on the counter but only five in use serving a good collection of mainly northern micros plus Tetleys Bitter and Mild. The most noticeable part of the decor is the collection of old ad's covering the walls and part of the ceiling, seating is comfortable bench and stool and there are a fair few screens about the place. The teapot collection is over the fireplace along with a big mirror commemorating Bradford City FC. Opening hours are a bit limited so check first, the pub is very devoted to Bradford City FC and is rammed on home game days.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Haigys

Odd-looking pub, with strong connections with the City's football club by the look of things. However, the interior offers fairly traditional furniture and decor. Quite busy on a cold Sunday night (although the lights were off in the back room). Patio table on the small green alongside. Four of the six handpumps were in operation, and my pint of Wincle Wibbly Wallaby (£2.70) was in good form. Overall, worth a visit if in the Manningham area. (NB - Review dates from December 2012.)

Nicely appointed pub that reminded me of an English bar in Spain. Lots of pictures around the walls along with a shrine type wall devoted to Haighy himself who sadly died last year. There's also a large collection of teapots. Half a dozen friendly locals and a chatty barman added to the positives, as did the free pieces of pasty on plates along the bar top. I think this is a regular thing on Fridays early evening which is when I visited. 3 changing real ales available plus Tetleys bitter and my pint a very good one. It's in the GBG2012 and rightly so. Worth the short walk out of the town centre.

Just on the edge of the City Centre, Haigy's is a very friendly little place. Always one or two real ales on. Good selection of bar snacks. Very friendly staff. Good as a starting point for a Bradford pub crawl.

Haigy's is a largish pub in the manningham area of Bradford.
This pub stands out has it is painted in Bradford Citys colours, once inside the pub is quite large and smart with different drinking areas there were two real ales on here i had a drink of Ossett Turkey and this was very nice the other beer was Tetley bitter.
This was a decent and comfortable pub.

Much favoured by Bradford City FC supporters, hence the claret and amber stripes!
