Rob Hunter left this review about Market Square Tavern

The Market Square Tavern looks slightly anonymous from the outside, so you may miss it if you are not seeking it out. Once inside, six hand pulls at the bar with four in active service at the time of my visit. Of the two inactive pulls one was unclipped and one had a clip that had been turned round. The four available offerings were TT Landlord, Salt Tweed, Saltaire Blonde and Black Sheep Snowflake. Unfortunately none of the Concept ales mentioned in earlier reviews so not sure if this tie has been cut or if I was just unlucky on the day. My Black Sheep Snowflake made me wish I had gone for the Salt Tweed instead.

Decor is smart and quite trendy and has more of a bar vibe than a pub. High level banquette seating features with high tables and high chairs.

Food is served including small bites, pizza, chicken, nachos, etc.

Kids are welcome until 7pm. Dogs are welcome. There appears to be Wi-Fi available though I didn't see this advertised anywhere. There is a pool table downstairs, with more pool tables upstairs, along with the toilets and what looked like a second bar, though I didn't investigate fully.

There were a handful of other people in at the time of my visit, but it was pretty quiet really.

A Wednesday cask club is advertised, whereby all cask ales are £3 a pint, though I was charged £2 for my half.

I'd be happy to give it another go and hope to get a better beer next time. Otherwise it will be getting dropped down to a 6/10 for me.

Another Bingley pub that has undergone a refurbishment and in this case quite a transformation from a shabby hole to swish modern bar. Opened out with stylish decor in a variety of finishes, wood, brick, tile and metals, and artistic lighting. Furnished mostly with high level chairs and tables with a few lower sets downstairs, the mezzanine floor is similar with lower seating and two pool tables, also the toilets are here although a disabled one is located in a downstairs corner . The far end downstairs is home to two shuffle board tables. Two sets of three pulls sell a variety of cask beers from their own Concept brewery in Horsforth, while less developed tastes can choose from a dozen kegs with taps on the bar back. Good service and decently kept beer. Pizzas and snacks are available and there’s a rear patio. About the only thing remaining to remind you of the old place are a number of big screens.

Old Boots left this review about The Ferrands Arms

A modernised Taylors tied house in a long low old building. The unremittingly modernised open plan interior has, sticky, laminated floors, sofas with low tables and tall tables with stools plus a few normal tables and chairs. There is a pool table nested away in one corner with some bench seating for observers. The walls are partly a shabby tongue and groove painted pinkish with plain cream above, no pictures or photos adorn them just the odd bit of art work here and there. The counter at the back has four pulls, two with Taylors beers and two with guests from Copper Dragon and Ossett. Quality was adequate. The many big screens had some sort of running being shown rather than the football on in other pubs, that might have accounted for the quietness of this one.

Ferrands Arms left this review about The Ferrands Arms

Catering for everybodys needs. With an extensive food menu, great selection of beers and real Timothy Taylor ales and the addition of 3D sport The Ferrands truly is the full package. Not to mention the lively weekends with live DJ's playing Thursday, Friday & Sturday nights every week.
