After the boxing day floods the Brown Cow has reopened much the same as it was before, a modern upmarket pub with lots of painted wood and bright modern atmosphere. This being a Taylor's tied house meant the full range of their beers were on offer on the six hand pulls with landlord doubled up along with Boltmaker, Ram Tam, Dark mild and Golden best,The landlord and Boltmaker were very well kept but at a pricey £3.50 for the former. this is a very nice place to stop by for a beer beside the river and their are numerous tables outside for when it is sunny. This is a bit middle class tho so the atmosphere can be a little tame and reserved for my liking which can hinder you from feeling completely at ease and relaxed but if you can look past this this is one of the best pubs in Bingley.

A more upmarket Taylors tied house in a splendid riverside location, the pub is panelled and stone flagged although not original. Usual pub decor of a few photos and prints. More a dining pub than a local, nonetheless the beer is spot on and the full Taylors range is available. There was a middle class mix of punters on my visit which I guess is the target audience. It's very pleasant with good beer maybe lacking a certain something.

Quinno _ left this review about Brown Cow

Situated in a picturesque location next to the River Aire, this is a Timothy Taylor pub that had the brewery’s full range on my visit and the Golden Best was in good form. I also noted a good deal of bottled foreign garb in the fridge and a fair range of single malts. A very large interior is done out in a modernised-trying-to-be-old chocolate brown with dark wood furnishings and fittings, including a multitude of oversized leather chairs. It’s fairly well-done if slightly contrived though the impressive carved wood bar back was a bit more authentic. The lack of customers on a quiet weekday meant the atmosphere was lunar. Food is pushed here and the dining area off to the right of the bar looked impressive. I didn’t see note an obvious riverside terrace or any overlooking windows, which is a shame. Worth checking out if you’re in the town though if you want TT beers in a more traditional environment, you’d be better off at the Boltmakers up the road in Keighley.
